Winter Beauty Picks

I've luckily received a few new makeup bits lately from friends and family. I didn't actually do a What I Got For Christmas post because I think that so many people write them, it all gets a bit samey. I'm sorry if you wanted one! However I do think that, because I didn't do one, I have a lot of new products to slowly introduce into my posts.

These are all products I have been using non stop lately, and I think a lot of them are quite wintery as well! I'm really enjoying glowy skin with mauve pink lips so that is a theme you'll see a lot in this post.

I'm not going to lie to you all. I put this on my Christmas list because of the shade name! I love the shade as well, though. It's so out of my comfort zone which I love because I literally have no other eyeshadow even similar to this! It's a gorgeous glittery smokey purple with so much pigment. I think this is just amazing for winter as its quite dark yet wearable.

Abida gifted this to me last year (thank you!) and I feel like I haven't been giving it enough love. The shade is a beautiful mauve pink and is completely matte. I have a whole post on this lippie so I won't ramble. It is described as a 'dirty pink' on the website and I agree, but there is definitely some plum tones in there.

I completely didn't give into the hype to this one ever since this little highlighting beauty first crept onto the blogging scene. I have the other highlighting palette in the shade Precious Metals, but I never feltl ike buying this. I guess I thought people were exaggerating. Believe me, they weren't! The highlighters in this are so pigmented, I love it as much as Mary Lou and that's saying something.

I've lost count how many times I've included this little gem in a blogpost. I love it so much! The bronzer is such a great colour, it's completely matte and warm toned but natural. The highlighter is a beautiful champagne with lots of pigment. I don't use the blush but thats just because I rarely use blush at all, but it is really pretty with shimmer running through it. For such a small price tag, you can't go wrong.

Abida gifted this to me as well this Christmas and I love it so much! It is the perfect shade for both Mac Mehr and Brave, and a few other lipsticks I have as well. You don't have to sharpen it which is such a time saver, and it doesn't drag on the lips. The shade is a pinky nude with a touch of mauve.
