Maybelline is a brand to watch right now, they have loads of new releases and great products at the moment. Currently Boots have a 3 for 2 offer on a few brands so I took advantage of that and picked up these three Maybelline products I've been dying to try out!
MAYBELLINE BRICKS BRONZER - link
I've had my eye on this bronzer & highlight duo encased in gold packaging for a couple of weeks before I finally caved in and purchased it. The highlighter is the main star of the duo, it has two tones to it - the left is more of a pinky shade and the right is a gold bronze. Swirling them together gives a peachy shimmer glow. The bronzer is a matte shade perfect for the pale skinned. I must admit, it is a tad on the orange side of things but with a light hand and blending it is fine.
MAYBELLINE MASTER CONTOUR V STICK - link
Oh, this product is a godsend! Half of the stick is a perfect shade for contour - cool toned but not grey. The other side is a light higlighting shade without shimmer. Both sides are creamy and blendable, and packed with pigmentation. This contour stick is the secret to quick and easy contour, it's never been easier.
MAYBELLINE LASH SENSATIONAL LUSCIOUS MASCARA - link
Firstly, the packaging is stunning. It is matte black with shiny pink lettering, I love it! This mascara is packed with oils, so the formula is quite wet and clumps easily. It does give great length and volume, but the clumpiness does put me off. However when paired with They're Real by Benefit, which separates the lashes. So, I'm not entirely won over by this mascara yet, but I do like it and it could get better when it dries out a bit over time.
L-R: Contour Stick, Bricks Bronzer Highlights separately, bronzer shade, mixed highlight shade |
Have you tried any of these products? What do you think?
xo
I was a bit confused with many variety of Lash Sensational, so I only bought the pink one (which I guess it's the original) and seriously got me blown away. I love the result, and wish I bought more T-T
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately the black one doesn't do good :(
Oh Dear Bumblebees
