5 Ways To Think Of Blog Content

This is something I really used to struggle with here on the blog was how to think of blog content. I didn't know how to get raw inspiration instead of relying on blogpost ideas posts I found on Bloglovin'. In the past year and a half we've had this little blog, ideas seem to come more naturally.

Read | Magazines, blogposts, articles, books, anything you can get your hands on. The best way to be inspired to write is to read other people's work. This is actually the most effective way for me to get ideas!

Take Time Out | Obviously this isn't always ideal, but sometimes you can burn out and not only not be able to think of ideas, but you don't even want to try. The only way to fix this is to have a break, be it a week or a month. Afterwards you'll feel rejuvenated and full of fresh ideas!

Browse Online | I find that browsing makeup shops, clothing stores, homeware etc can really help inspire me. This is perfect for wishlist and haul writing, but can work for any other post too! It's also quite a fun, easy way to feel inspired to write and create interesting content.

Play around with makeup | Take some time out of your day to just search through all of your makeup, try out some unloved products or creative colours. You'll find new products to talk about and review, you can blog about the makeup look you created and maybe categorise some makeup you own into themes e.g. Pretty Makeup For Your Dressing Table!

Go for a walk | I don't really know what it is about a walk but its so refreshing. Let your train of thouguht wander and you'll find that you'll end up feeling inspired and ready to type up some new blog content. I find that listening to no music helps more because there are no distractions!

How do you think of blog content?
