The 2 Drugstore Liquid Lipsticks You Need This Autumn

Liquid lipsticks have been the trend for the past couple of years, with high end companies like ABH and Kat Von D providing cult classics and drugstore brands following after. I think liquid lipsticks are great to wear in the autumn months because they're so long lasting for when you're having a coffee or hot chocolate.

The NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams are a cult beauty favourite in the blogging community, and the shade 'Cannes' is the perfect autumnal colour. The formula is incredibly creamy and moisturising, yet somehow it dries completely matte. It is a brown with rosey undertones. It's definitely not a nude brown, but its not a dark lip shade either.

Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvets are gorgeous liquid lipsticks that I think have been forgotten about somewhat. The packaging is very sleek, and matches the shade. I have the colour 'Don't Pink Of It!' which is a gorgeous wearable nude pink. Its quite a dusty pink I'd say, which makes it easy for everyday wear as some pinks can be a bit OTT. The formula is quite thin but with lots of pigmentation, it dries completely matte and lasts a long time too.

NYX Cannes, Bourjois Don't Pink Of It!

What liquid lipsticks can you recommend for autumn?

  4. I'm obsessed with the NYX matte lip cremes, I'm definitely going to be purchasing more and more of them! I have London and Ibiza which are gorgeous! I originally didn't get along with the bourjois products but I think they recently changed up the formula so will have to retry! xx
