A Few New Products

Over the past month or so, I've splurged a little.. a couple of drugstore products have found their way into my makeup and a couple of high end have wandered in as well..oops. Needless to say, I have practically no money now (it was worth it). I didn't quite buy enough to title this post a haul, so I thought I'd just share a few new products.

My mum and I took a girly trip to Bluewater at the start of August, and when I found a gigantic NYX counter in the Boots there, I practically squealed. (Okay, I may have actually squealed). After much deliberation about what shade to get, Cannes seemed perfect. It is a true pink toned brown, much like Velvet Teddy but a tad darker. The formula is so comfortable, which I really appreciate as it is a matte product.

I don't expect any readers to remember our blog this time last year, but I used to rave to the heavens about this mascara. Not only is it affordable, but it gives amazing length and definition. I knew I had to repurchase this after my mini Benefit They're Real dried out, as I didn't want to splurge on the full size. 

CHANEL ROUGE COCO LIPSTICK 'MADEMOISELLE' | £26 you can buy here

Oh my goodness, the months I have waited to finally get my hands on a Chanel lipstick. I don't regret spending so much money at all. Encased in a shiny, Sleek black and gold bullet - Mademoiselle is a creamy, wearable pink nude with a hint of brown. What I love about this lipstick is how different it is to anything I own - I naturally gravitate towards brown toned mattes, and I've practically worn nothing else since this purchase.

I actually own this in a very mini size, and when I saw this reduced in duty free at Gatwick, it completely made sense to me to buy it. I had used no other bronzer for a couple of months, and I was getting sick of fitting my big brush into such a miniscule pan. The full size is much more convenient and is well loved already.
