The Spring Edit

Its finally here - spring. I don't know about you but spring is my favourite season, I just love the feeling of everything growing again; my birthday; and the days finally getting longer and lighter once more. Just like for winter, I have put together some makeup products to switch up your daily go-to for the coming months.

MAKEUP REVOLUTION ICONIC 3 PALETTE - £4

I just had to choose this eyeshadow palette to go in this post. It is full of pink, rose gold hues that are just so pretty. You can create so many looks with this palette. The pigmentation is pretty impressive for a £4 palette, and the texture is nice too. There are a few mattes but most are shimmery. It is a dupe for the Naked 3 Palette by Urban Decay, but I can't compare the too as I don't own the high end version. However, I can say that this is worth every penny and I can't wait to use more now that it is Spring.

THEBALM MARY LOU MANIZER - £17.50

I've spoken about this highlighter by TheBalm very, very recently. So, I'll try not to ramble for too long! In short, this is a light gold shimmery highlight with intense pigmentation. One sweep with the brush on your cheekbones creates a beautiful, iridescent golden glow. I love dewy finishes and this definitely makes you look glowy and bright.

BOURJOIS BLUSH IN ROSE D'OR - £7.99

Ah, I love this blush. Firstly, the packaging is adorable. A lot of the gold lettering has actually rubbed off now, but that doesn't stop me appreciating how cute this little pink pot of blush is! The actual product is just as good: it is a beautiful perfect pink with lots of gold shimmer running through it. It creates a beautiful rosy glow on the cheeks, it looks so healthy and pretty. 'Rose D'Or' actually translates to Golden Rose which is a perfect name for this blusher. It is a bit sheer but I like that because it makes it easier to apply without going OTT.

NATURAL COLLECTION LIP GLOSS IN TURKISH DELIGHT - £1.99

I have no idea if I've ever even spoken about this lip gloss on the blog before.. if not, I don't know why! For such a low price, this lip gloss really is amazing. It is a coral colour, but not really bright or unwearable. It isn't too sticky and lasts quite a while. Considering it is just under two quid - this product really is a win win. I think this slightly more bright shade is great for spring, and makes a change from the staple matte lipsticks we all treasure in winter!

BOURJOIS ROUGE EDITION VELVET LIPSTICK IN DON'T PINK OF IT - £8.99

Award for the longest name of a product goes to this, haha. Jokes aside, this liquid lipstick is amazing. It is a dusky rose pink colour with a hint of mauve (awful explanation? I think so). The packaging looks exactly like the shade it comes out as. It dries very well and doesn't feel too drying on your lips, although I would still recommend wearing lip balm underneath. They last all day on your lips too. This is such a cute shade for spring!

I hope you enjoyed this very, very rambly post (apologies). What is your favourite thing about spring? We'd love to know!

Byeee! x
