An Ode To Pretty Packaging

Hey guys, its Phoebe. Now I don't know about you, but I really appreciate good packaging. I know that you shouldn't judge something by its cover - but 75% of the time, when I'm makeup shopping, I will swatch something or want something because of its packaging. I'm ashamed to say it, but sometimes I have actually only bought something because it is pretty!

So, I decided to dedicate a post to some selected products with great packaging. I genuinely like all of these products too! Hope you enjoy x

ALICE + ELIZA CHERRY BLOSSOM LIP BALM

The packaging of this lip balm pot is so cute. The birds and roses give it such a girly look! It is a cherry blossom lip balm from M&S I believe, and it smells gorgeous.

SLEEK PRECIOUS METALS HIGHLIGHTING PALETTE

I've reviewed this product here so I'm not going to go on and on about it too much, haha! The packaging is a gorgeous gold metal which feels and looks really luxurious. It looks very sophisticated and sleek (excuse the pun) and it looks so pretty in my makeup collection!

BOURJOIS LITTLE ROUND POT BLUSH ROSE D'OR

There's just something about the little pink pot of pink blusher which just makes me so happy. Unfortunately the gold lettering has rubbed off now, but I used to love that touch. This blusher is just so dainty and cute!

BENEFIT POREFESSIONAL

I'm still trialling this product, and will let you know how I truly feel about the literal formula soon. However, the packaging is another story. It is so retro/vintage/girly/cute which just screams Benefit to me! Pretty much everything by Benefit is beautifully packaged! I love the stripes on it too.

L'ORÉAL LIPSTICK COLLECTION EXCLUSIVE JULIANNE'S NUDE

This lipstick looks so high end for the price - just £6.99. It is matte black casing with shiny gold lettering. I love the fact that it has Julianne's signature on it in gold, it looks so chic! This lipstick range is probably one of the prettiest lipsticks in the drugstore.

BENEFIT HIGH BEAM

I bought this very recently with some birthday money (What I Got For My Birthday 2016, coming very soon..) and I haven't been able to stop using it. A full review of the product will have to come in another post as this one is dedicated to just packaging. I love the white lid and simple black lettering. Also, you can see the beautiful iridescent pink product inside.

I hope you enjoyed this post and it gave you some ideas to add to your dressing table or makeup collection!

What products do you own with pretty packaging?

Byeee! x
