Phoebe's January Favourites

The first favourites of 2016, so exciting! It's Phoebe and I have so many new products to share and talk about so let's get started..

MAYBELLINE BABY SKIN PRIMER

Okay so this is the only not-so-new product, and I know I have gone on about it. But, recently I have been using my Rimmel primer. That wasn't cutting it once I returned back to school so I got this one out again and forgot how amazing it is! My pores disappear, my skin is smooth and when I get home my makeup is virtually perfect.

MAKEUP REVOLUTION ULTRA SCULPT & CONTOUR KIT - ULTRA FAIR C01

This was featured in my What I Got For Christmas post briefly but I haven't had the chance to actually talk about it. Since my friend got me this I have used nothing else! The bronzer is the perfect mix of cool and warm, the highlight is stunning and glow and everything you would want, the blusher is pigmented and similar to Nars Orgasm. Need I say more? I don't think so.

SEVENTEEN DEFINE & CONQUER CONTOUR KIT - FAIR

I have wanted this for months, literally. I could never bring myself to buy it, despite it being inexpensive, as I have contour products and couldn't see the point in a matte highlighter. Looking back, I wish I'd bought this sooner!! The contour shade is very similar to Hoola in colour (hoola is a little more pigmented) and literally stays on all day. The highlight is perfect for brightening rather than shining. I love using it under my eyes and on my nose.

URBAN DECAY NAKED PALETTE

I'm not kidding - I screamed when I opened this on Christmas. I've wanted the Naked palettes for ages, but I never thought the original would be the one I chose to put on my Christmas list. I had seriously been lacking in the warm eyeshadows department and now they are all I use. My fave eyeshadow combos from this palette are: Sin on the lid, Toasted and Buck mixed in the crease, Hustle to darken and smoke ; Sidecar on the lid, Buck in the crease, Darkhorse to darken ; Half Baked on the lid, Smog and Darkhorse in the crease, Virgin in the inner corner.

BENEFIT THEY'RE REAL MASCARA (MINI)

I have two minis of this cult beauty product and I might have to purchase a full size when I run out. This is hands down the best mascara I have ever tried! It beats Seventeen FalsifEYE  (however it does come very close) and L'OrĂ©al Volume Million Lashes! It is so lengthening which is something I really need. I don't know why but I haven't paired it up with the They're Real Tinted Lash Primer yet, so I'll report back if that works.

RIMMEL LIP LINER IN SPICE

I bought a couple of lip liners to go with some recent lipstick purchases, and this one was the fave. It is a peachy brown '90s nude. I don't over line my lips with this, I just draw a line to help with lipstick application and longevity.

MAC VELVET TEDDY LIPSTICK

I haven't worn a single other lipstick since getting this, it is the perfect brown nude. I swatches it a couple of posts back in my '6 Favourite Nude Lipsticks' post. This is a matte finish but still the most creamy lipstick I own. It lasts ages, especially when paired with the lip liner above.

So that was a very rambly post! Nonetheless I hope you enjoyed and I hope it gave you inspiration for things to buy and try out.

Byeee! x
