How To Have A Productive Day

With GCSEs just round the corner, it's more essential than ever for us to be productive and efficient. Things may get a little quiet around here for the next few months as revision is the priority, but hopefully we'll be able to schedule before things get too busy. After all, it's important to have a work life balance so maybe writing posts will be an escape from crazy stress haha!

Start the day slow | When you wake up, make sure you don't rush into the numerous tasks you have planned as this will leave you feeling nothing but overwhelmed. Start the day slowly, making sure you enjoy breakfast & getting ready. This means you'll have a positive mindset.

Stay hydrated | It's so easy to start feeling groggy and tired, and just staying hydrated throughout the day can make that go away. If you're not a fan of drinking water - personally, I love the stuff - you could add some fruit or drink some tea instead.

Tidy space, tidy mind | Think about it: if your workspace is cluttered and messy, your mind will feel cluttered with the amount of tasks you need to do. Take a few minutes to clear your desk so that only the things you need are on it, and making sure you have everything you need around you so you don't get tempted to procrastinate.

Start the list with something you've already done | There's something so motivating about seeing a couple of items on a to do list ticked, it makes me want to complete it! So, if you really struggle making to do lists work for you, try adding a couple of tasks you've done already and see if that makes a difference.

Do you have any tips for us?
