Foundation Collection

Hey guys its Phoebe! Since trying out foundation for the first time ever in March, I have tried out a few different options. I haven't got a massive BB Cream/Foundation collection, but I thought it would be nice to do a little round-up on the ones I do have and tell you my thoughts on them!

p.s: sorry the lighting is a bit blue in the photos above, it was raining aha! Might be a bit blue in my November Fvaourites too..hope you don't mind :)

Maybelline Dream Pure BB Cream - £6.99 - Shade: Light

The first foundation I have to show you isn't technically a foundation, it is a BB Cream, but I wanted to include it in this post anyway. Summer 2014 I got the Maybelline Dream Pure BB Cream, it has practically ran out now but I keep it for sentimental value and because there is a tiny bit left. It has a lovely lightweight consistency and a fairly low, but buildable coverage.

Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation - £7.99 - Shade: Light Porcelain

This foundation has a light, dewy finish which looks very natural. The coverage is light/medium but you could easily build it up in more problem areas. I think this product is a great starter foundation because it has such a wide shade range which lessens your chance of looking orange. Also, the coverage and finish are both very natural.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Nude Foundation - £7.99 - Shades: Ivory and Classic Beige

I have two shades in the Rimmel Lasting Finish Nude Foundation because I love it that much! This has a medium to full coverage while still looking natural. It has a satin finish which I like because it doesn't make your skin look lifeless, however you don't need to worry about looking shiny, This foundation has amazing longevity and doesn't budge!

L'Oreal Infallible Matte Foundation - £7.99 - Shade: 10 Porcelain

One of my most recent purchases, the L'Oreal Infallible 24H Matte Foundation is the only completely matte foundation I own. I don't use this as much because I find that it can cake up around my spots, however I do like it. I really like the squeezy tube becaus eyou get a lot of control with how much comes out. The coverage is high which I like a lot!

Revlon Colorstay Foundation - £12.99 - Shade: Buff

Finally, my favourite foundation. This is quite expensive for a drugstore brand, but it is well worth the money and I would 100% repurchase. I talked about it in detail in my The Winter Edit post so I won't bore you again! In a nutshell, it is yellow toned, high coverage and has a satin finish. Honestly the only thing I can fault with this foundation is the fact that it doesn't have a pump (so annoying!)

I hope you enjoyed this post, I might do more collection posts such as lip products or eyeshadow palettes!

Byeee! x
